Dress Code

There are specific dress requirements for students at Longmont Dance Theatre. All students must wear attire and hairstyle appropriate to their level to be admitted to class. No watches or jewelry may be worn during class, with the exception of small, secure earrings. Your cooperation helps students to remain focused during class.

Dance Attire

Girls: Any style black solid leotard (no designs or sequins). Pink tights with full foot. No skirts for Level 1–5. Pink canvas or leather ballet slippers with drawstring bows tucked in and Pointe shoes properly fitted by Boulder Body Wear where applicable. Hair must be in a secure bun or pulled back from face.

Boys: White T-shirts, Dark colored (black preferred) pants or shorts. Socks (white preferred). Black leather or canvas ballet slippers.

Tap/Jazz: Leotard and tights, lycra pants, or lycra shorts and tap shoes for tap/jazz shoes for jazz (no baggy clothes, no sneakers, no jeans for jazz).

Hip Hop: Leotard or shirt with loose fitting pants and jazz or plain tennis shoes that are never worn outside.
